At
the beginning of a new millennium, the bioHerb.com., a
small university venture, was launched by several professors
from Seoul National University together . With ambitious goals, we will endeavor to introduce
natural products industry to the information business
sectors. I believe our technology will be transferred
and implemented into respective industries quickly. Beside,
these efforts, we will make efforts to develop innovations
and disseminate information on the wisdom of traditional
Oriental-Chinese herbal therapy. Our efforts will make
a significant contribution to harmonize two different
types of medicines : traditional and modern. Asian culture
and Asian ways of thinking can help to create new business
models of various information technologies and these contributions
can be universally accepted. I personally believe that
digital technology cannot stand alone without analogue
technology in cultural and traditional environments. Because
human beings are organic creatures in organic systems
continuously interacting, not just dots with intermittent
phase break, I believe we must consider other, more harmonious
forms of technology.
Looking forward to hearing your suggestions and advice,
